Hey, I'm pretty new here, although I've lurked for a while. Noticed a weird idle, and small loss of power on accel so I popped the hood. Pushed on the belt while inspecting it and I could very easily move the belt, and tensioner with just my hand. Fast forward... I've got all the bolts out of the old tensioner, and alternator, but the last one is (the one perpendicular to the all the other ones) seized. I tried a blow torch even. Pure brute strength wouldn't do it, and I'm a relatively strong guy. It's not really breaker/cheater bar accessible. Unless I put almost 3 ft+ of extensions on the ratchet. Anyone had this happen before? Thanks.

I'm having a hard time picturing what you're talking about. Do you mean the bolts that hold the tensioner to the engine?

Yes, I believe its the the bolt on the back side of tensioner. I was able to remove the 3 bolts holding the alternator (although the alt did not want budge much either), but could not get the main bolt on the back of the tensioner. The one that goes sideways into what looks like the engine. I'm not exactly sure. Thank you for your reply.
