You can get a nice lil flux core mig welding setup for under 200$ all in these days and weld it yourself. Or like stated, clean up the crud, wrap with muffler tape and some hose clamps to the tune of 20$ and call it good.

 

Anything other than hitting your local muffler shop with a crisp $20 bill in your pocket is insanity
