I’m thinking about putting tow hooks on my TDR Sport and cutting the air dam to where they would be visible..anyone do this yet?

Yeah, some people have done it, but it can be a bit of a pain. You'll likely need to remove the active air dam and deal with some tricky bolt removal. Worth it if you really want the tow hooks, but be prepared for a challenge.
