I feel if I'm ever reincarnated it will be as a roll of toilet paper in a Chinese buffet.

Is it worse to have to wear long pants and sleeves in 100% humidity and 90+ degrees or go just deal with poison ivy? :notsure:

Poison ivy is the worst. Believe me, I've dealt with poison oak several years ago and it is relentless and brutal. The rash spreads and oozes for weeks after and is miserable. I would much rather suffer through the heat and humidity with long pants and sleeves than deal with poison ivy for weeks after.

wear long sleeves and long pants!!
strip in the garage and go right in the shower when you are done

poison ivy allergies can get worse with exposure to it
i don't really react but i always cover myself head to toe when i have to cut/deal with it - gloves, hat, glasses too

you can also soak your hair before you start so that helps keep you cooler

As @amyracecar said, it tends to get worse every time you are exposed. Just a thought. But I certainly understand the aversion to wearing long pants and sleeves in that heat.

Yeah I'm reading that now. Looks like some people get worse with exposure and some people get less sensitive with age. Hoping for the latter.

My dad doesn't get it at all! He's one of those people. :annoyed:

I'm just thinking in that kind of heat you can get heat related rashes too which is equally undesirable! :angrygirl:
