Playing phone tag with the snapon rep today. He owes me one more update for my scanner, then I'm canceling the subscription... might be part of why he's in no hurry to respond

 

Uggg, you played your cards too early

 

It rained last night so while I wait for the wood to dry out a bit to start painting, I hard wired the power for the patio speakers and started a pork butt on the smoker.

My replacement sprinkler controller is supposed to be coming today, too. Just in time for it to rain tomorrow so I can't paint and have an excuse to play with it.

And I get to mount my new air compressor hose reel.

Gonna be a good week.

 

No kidding! They are crawling like crazy now, but they're still manageable. The two year old is an absolute pistol. This is three minutes explained by pictures:

16 - arrived at Rochester, NY
18 - arrived Sacramento, CA
19 - Folsom, CA (almost to destination)
23 - back at Sacramento ...
26 - "in transit to next facility"
26 - back at Sacramento
28 - Wilmington, DE
29 - Departed Wilmington
30 - Arrived at Philadelphia, PA

So, 14 days, about 7000 miles and the damn thing is only 4 hours from where it started...


Things like this are enough to make even a mild mannered guy say , & too!

Just realized no matter how bad it seems for me, at least I’m not a Triatholon competitor for the Paris Olympics…

The threat of cancelling a 1/3 of the competition vs going ahead with the same 1/3 under very suspicious circumstances, possibly health threatening circumstances seems inherently unfair….

 

Not that it matters much to me, I swore off watching any of the Olympics after the opening night fiasco. But you'd think they could find somewhere else to have the swim portion of the competition, or the the whole competition...

 

My daughters pet grasshopper died. Never thought I would assist with funeral arrangements for a bug...

 

I expect you're not going to dip it in chocolate and have it for desert...

I believe the options on the table are, burial in a jewelry box OR viking funeral (popsicle stick boat and light it on fire in the bird bath)
