Where does this line connect to on the motor?

    Figuring out where this line connects too on the motor I can’t seem to find the hole to put it back into
    Toyota Tacoma 06 4.0 manual transmission any help would be much appreciated

    That looks like a breather to me.
    Check the differentials. The gear box will also have a breather, as well as the transfer case (if you have a 4x4).

    Is it metal or white plastic on the end?
    Is your truck an automatic?

    Looks like the transmission/ transfer case breather for the automatic
