He’s not really running dual batteries; he just has a homebrew lifepo system in the backseat with a dc charger

Exposed bare + and - terminals on that lithium battery in the back look a little bit skeery. Hopefully the lithium bat has basic onboard short protection in the BMS built into the battery itself.

FWIW I just went and looked closer now that I have a bit more time.
    The factory wire colors are:

Main ground cables from battery - to body and from battery - to the engine block are Black with a Grey stripe.

Main power wire from battery + to the starter is Black with a Red stripe.

Main power wire from battery + to the bottom of the fuse box is solid Black

Main power wire from stud in fuse box to the alternator is Black with a Blue stripe.

That is good to know for us stock wiring guys to know.

But op says, "There isn’t anything it battery and cables from factory"

Also, My alt wire was also Blue/Black.
Which is the wire to the stud in fuse box.
    Do remember the others.

Pretty sure I see some silver wire wrap on one going to the starter?

That is just heat reflective tape since the harness is near the exhaust manifold.

If you pull the loom back where the wire goes to the battery cable you will see it has a red stripe on it.

Ok so funny story. To start with you folks have been a blessing. What had happened was I had what I thought was a black ground wire was in fact supposed to be hot. Took jumper cables jumped across from battery to stud and truck started fine. I had already removed the suspect wire before that. I am in fact the stupidest person on earth. I didn’t label wires when I took them off. And I didn’t take pictures before either. And %{|>*} Toyota for making all those wires black Again many thanks. I haven’t been able to read through everyone help but I’m beyond blessed. Of course I have time now to read through everything …. Btw it’s 101 degrees right now in western Oklahoma on the side of I-40. Now we test U-Haul roadside assistance

The Ford Motor Craft battery is new? I see that it is a 96R was the battery terminals the same before? I know that a 27 and 27F have opposite post.

Yea most manufacturers just use black for the main cables, I guess they don't forsee people modifying things where it would be confusing.

    Good luck with the tire.

That ford battery was one we had left over at work and yes the new battery that I got was backwards but I didn’t realize it till like 6 months later and by then I could not take it back. But the cables are JUST long enough to make it to the far side of the battery and when I get back I’m redoing the entire cable system in FULL COLOR.

Well I had to reroute the additional cables to make up for
The battery terminals on the wrong side of the battery. Winch, dc/dc charger and air compressor all come off the battery directly

You can just slip some red heat shrink tube over the last 6" of cable for ID

I feel vary smart as it only took me about an hour to figure this out when my passenger window "failed". :)

    Great minds think alike.

The window had "failed" a day or two before and I'd already put an hour or two into trying to figure it out.

Then I had to go somewhere and was driving long-distance on the highway and rain was coming, and the passenger window was stilled rolled all the way down. I pulled off the highway & spent 15 anxious minutes and finally tried the lock-out switch.
