Hey guys if anyone is out wheeling, please be on the lookout for this guy. Family didn't have a better pic of his truck but looks like a wheeler.

Thanks for all the views. Unfortunately his body was found in the Sequoia National Park. No details were given.

    Stay safe out there folks.

Such a bummer. For anyone reading, I strongly suggest carrying personal protection when out on the trails. It could be wildlife or evil people that you'll need to protect yourself from.

Do we know what happened? I've always camped solo, my wife or with a group to never fear an issues. However, I've been hearing stories and have been watching a lot of Mr.Ballen videos to know be more concerned.

I always travel with bear spray, large knives and an axe. However I don't have a firearm and now wonder if I need it for my home and camping these days. It sure takes away from getting away from the city and feeling free with nature.

I don't want to be disrespectful by straying too far off-topic with firearms. I'll sum it by saying at least for home defense. Just like you would have a fire extinguisher and first aid kit.

I looked at his GoFundMe and excess donations will be given to a mental health and suicide prevention organization. I don't want to assume as it could very well be an organization the family was already involved in or just a coincidence.

    Vehicle:
    2017 Tacoma OR 4x4 (formerly a 1998 SR5 PU, 2002 OR 4x4, 1995 4x4 4Runner, 1985 4x4 Toy PU) ... and RIP’s (rust in pieces) to a Bronco II 4x4 & S10 Blazer 4x4
Please lock them and keep them safe from your kids. Our friend just lost their teenage son who graduated from high school this year and had access to their home defense item.

OP- what a sad story. It’s sometimes hard to know exactly how someone feels and what they’re thinking of when they are going through such dark times. I hope the family is well and can be closer to each other after going through this.
