    Hello,

Currently building out the rear suspension and axle components for my 2013 Toyota Tacoma and I have hit a bit of a snag. I Purchased a trail gear Rock assault 8.4 housing that I cut 6" wider than stock to match the front long travel width, but I am having trouble sourcing custom Bolt in axles.

The goal was to save some money and retain as much of the Factory Toyota Components as possible like the bolt pattern, abs, and brakes. Part of me is starting to wish I went to a 9", but now I'm in the hole for the Fabricated 8.4 housing and would like to make a solid attempt to make it work.

I have come up short with a local Axle manufacturer because the axle cores they use do not have a large enough hub flange for the 6x5.5 bolt pattern. I am sending in an axle order form to Dutchman axles but when I talked to them over the phone they said they have had trouble in the past with the cores they use not having a large enough Journal diameter for certain Toyota Axles.

Any other recommendations for places to try would be much appreciated. I'm starting to worry a bit. I would also entertain a floater hub if that's what it takes. I noticed Diamond axle has a Floater hub conversion for the older Toyota 8" Housing.

    Thanks!
