Has been anyone tried this trail before in Barry’s Bay Area ? What’s a 2 rating mean. What trail number was the newbie run. I was planning to go with the family on the way to a cottage.

Subaru transmission pan developed a leak. Replaced the pan and transmission filter with cheap A-Premium parts from Amazon. Total cost $82 to my door, cheaper than the Subaru HP transmission fluid! The filter includes rubber pan gasket, a lot easier to work with than the factory FIPG.

I know that trail very well. its my backyard. steep as FUCK hill, its 80m tall, but we're talking close to 40% - 45% (phone says 60 but that seems way off), doing it up hill i saw one of us lift their front ends going up. doing it downhill is 4L on the breaks as you slide down, not fun, i'll tell you that. there is a nasty mud swap in there just past the Tee as well that nearly swallowed me.

it's a proper ATV trail, not worth driving down as the bridge at the end isn't all too healthy. Go around

the other half of the Tee is blocked off with bolders as some ass hat bought the land and killed the ATV bypass to the up/down hill.



Tom's lookout will be as eventful as youll get. There is a side trail before reaching the top that goes down and eventually connects to what is effectively an old forest fire accessroad.
Lots of trees down in the area, enough to squeeze an ATV, but at the top near the breakoff is swamp.
Not sure how deep it is but ive heard people getting stuck in it, not a path i would recommend going down. Especially since the exit is gated and locked.


If you want to do the abandoned ski lift, you might be a le to do it? I recall there are cameras from the old building pointed right at it. I do recall the access the breaks off from the trail to the ski lift was bouldered off
