I admire cursive writers. I was trained to write caps in all instances (architecture major), but I can still squeak out an oddly shaped “n” every now and again

    Issued in 2008

Entry.. not sure if I’m late, but my son and I had a great time down at the beach looking for good walking sticks lol… it was pretty cool walking the beach comparing sticks… kids these days are stuck on technology and not spending out in the great out doors.

If you win, since you are picking the winner, this contest is rigged :boink:

There’s a very interesting story about the door, I will share it regardless of outcome of this week’s contest, if anyone wants to hear it.

So many great efforts! I wish we could have more than 1 winner.

With that said, I would like offer @oldtimertoyota the drivers seat, but it looked like was already sitting there.

So many things in that pic you don't see anymore.

    Congrats!

Again I want to thank who entered pictures. It truly was difficult choosing.

    Thanks

    Kirk

Yes, we do want to hear the back story. That was one of the choices that made the job picking a winner difficult.

IMG_0096.jpg IMG_1375.jpg IMG_1412.jpg So the back story on the door is it’s a “replacement “ door on the Gibson factory, Les probably used it a lot, it’s been vandalized, someone stole the Heritage Guitar sign, and a lot of people have had their picture in front of it.
I have a few more goodies , I’ll save for the future weeks

Thank you so much! Yes when I heard the challenge I thought of my old Toyota Pickup. Quick back story, bought it new in 1986, started as my cruiser, family truck, work truck and now back to a cruiser. I actually asked my wife to marry me in that truck in 1988, so every time we go out driving in it we have a great time, I won’t change a thing!!

For this weeks challenge let’s do “black and white” photos, those are always interesting

Congratulations @oldtimertoyota I bought a 1982 Toyota with a manual transmission off the lot for $5600. $200 down and $176 a month for 4 years. Loved that truck. Wish I would’ve held on to it.
