I've thought about that too! All of quarantine I've been trying to get a buddy of mine to grab his work laptop, a weboost, and just start working from the road. No one will be the wiser as long as we're responding to things during local hours lol

Sounds like only one (fairly large gauge) wire needs to run out of the cabin for the antenna right? How long is the wire?

I'm thinking of going through the same firewall hole under the steering wheel and mounting the antenna next to one of my ditch lights since it seems the bulky part of the antenna sits fairly high out of the drivers view? The alternative for me is to shoot it up through the windshield like you did, through the channels and to the bed mounted to the bed rack.

the wire is probably about between 7ft-8ft you have a lot to spare. Windshield channel is your best option. I didn't brother running though my firewall.

Where did you run the wire to after going into the engine bay. I am wanting to route mine on the same side down the passenger side

I never went through the engine bay. I just had it between the doors to the glove compartment
