Yesterday I picked up and installed this Diamondback HD tonneau cover I found on FB marketplace. I was going to purchase a new one from the manufacturer but I couldn’t pass up the deal. Plus this will give me some peace of mind to leave my camping gear in the bed while visiting family. IMG_0523.jpg

Awesome, I love my oem tonneau cover, makes it nice to pack up the bed and not have to worry about anything flying out, and even keeps the groceries dry lol

Scrubbed some tires, and knocked a dent out.
Very nice! I gotta ask tho; how much you shell out? And whats your thoughts on ease of removal when needed?

I paid $1200. Removal when needed will be very easy. It’s literally only pulling the panels off their hinges, then loosening the four clams to take off the center panel. Putting it back on is just a matter of making sure the panels are in their proper place and retightening the bolts. The panels weigh about 45-50 lbs and are a bit cumbersome so having someone to help would make the reinstall go a little easier. I don’t anticipate having to remove the cover too often but someone on Reddit said they love their cover but called it a pain in the ass because of how often they have to remove it. Something to consider

I love mine also, got it in aluminum instead of black to keep the bed contents cooler in summer. My Massimo fridge from Costco fits just perfectly under it with barely a few millimeters so it holds it snug in place, no sliding around, and I plug it into my Jackery then plug the Jackery into the bed outlet to keep it charged. The cover also carries up to 1600 lbs and I've already strapped a motorcycle on top to transport it. You can literally jump up & down on it and not damage it. Pretty quality stuff, a good investment.
