    Hey TW!!
So I’ve had an account here since 2019 but have not been active. At the time I was looking and went with a 3rd Gen 4Runner. I bought that from a member on T4R. I think that forum has kind of fallen off. Not sure what’s up with it but my login is struggling and I noticed that it’s buried in advertisements.

anyways, my 4runner has been amazing but it’s at 250k and I’m really wanting a 3rd gen Tacoma!

I was looking in my local market and everyone in the Midwest has lost their mind on prices. And the dealerships here want $42k for stock off-roads with 40k miles. It took me a bit but I remembered about the forum. Came here and found some rigs that are more of what I’m looking for.
I’ve been watching the bst threads and have seen a couple really great ones go before I could get a chance at them.

I can’t post on threads yet so I’m just sending out dms to inquire about purchasing. The market looks to be relaxing a lot at the dealerships across the country. They are all sitting on trucks! I bet come January, they will be offering big discounts on the 2024’s that are sitting around not moving.

If anyone is moving a OR DCSB in Cement grey, please hit me up. Open to other colors. Just love the gray and black look. I’m looking to buy anytime from not until the end of the year. I’m looking for one with some tech but not necessary. 2020 or newer for financing purposes. Would prefer lower mileage and an off road with push start, dual climate control, and the electric rear window.

Thanks man! We just got back from a trip to the west coast. I rented a 3rd Gen trd pro. It was fun to vacation out of. Having the bed is so handy. I’m really looking forward to owning one.

    Thanks dude!
I’ve noticed a few people have sale threads and haven’t replied to my DMs. Can you tell me how active the bst is here? It seems like several posts aren’t updated with “sold” and I guess it’s kind of odd that someone would list a vehicle for sale and not read a dm in over 3 days.

Get a trd or. Not all the bells and whistles, and a few small downgrades, but a much better price point for what you get (still fucking expensive) imo.

I waited for prices to go down for ever. It never really happened, but I at least knew the going prices an what was a good deal when getting a new vehicle became an actual necessity.

I paid a bit over 40k for a 23 with just under 18k miles. Still feel like the price was crazy, but I know the truck would have been gone in a few days if I didnt scoop it up.

    Best of luck.

That sounds like a pretty good deal. What one did you get? That’s basically brand new and no transmission issues. Haha

Got the OR. Silver. 5ft bed. Would have liked a 6 ft bed but couldnt wait around as they are more difficult to find. Could have paid less for a manual as well, but want my mother or sister etc. to be able to use the truck if Im not around, so decided to go AT.

I think the silver is a fantastic color! And the AT is driving on easy street. Personally, I’m going for AT for a few reasons. Remote start being number 1. And 2, I just want to push start and go. I want to use the adaptive cruise control and not have to shift. Not even sure if that works on a MT. The new civic we are buying for my gf will come to a complete stop on the highway and start back up after the light changes. If you are driving behind someone and have all the auto stuff set.
