There was a run of really bad respiratory infections in my area. I got it too. It wasn't Covid, wasn't the flu. Had bronchitis pretty bad. Lots of people were testing positive for Covid at the doctors office when I chatted with the nurse. It was about two weeks I was decently sick. I thought it was pneumonia because I was so wheezy and snap crackle pop when I'd breathe. Ended up getting a chest x-ray, not pneumonia.

Still have this kind crud of cough and it's going on 3 weeks.

I don't know if it's enterovirus going around. That's kind of a late summer illness.

I had COVID a few weeks ago. First time I ever got it, and it put me down for a solid 5 days.

People have been getting sick since ever. Practice simple hygiene, don't lick door knobs, and encourage people to quit chasing antibiotics and steroids as a fix-all for viral infections. If you find yourself with a doctor who diagnoses you with something without running confirmatory testing, find a new doctor. Contrary to popular belief, every snotty nose and cough isn't 'Rona. On the opposite hand, its not some new never-seen-before widespread virus that the healthcare field doesn't yet know about. At the end of the day, the medical and pharmaceutical fields exist to make money. Educate yourself and advocate for yourself when it comes to your healthcare. Sure, it sucks being sick with a virus - its not the end of the world. You'll get better soon.

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
For me, chocolate chip cookies seem to be working to keep the virus away.

Wife and I have Covid. Worst this time than when we had it 2 years ago. Been a week and it’s better but still feel like shit but not as shitty. Fatigue and tired but thankfully the fever has resolved. If you get it, isolate yourself, don’t spread it. It can still be a killer for several groups of people.

i work in health care... RSV usually effects new infants, and old folks... you know why RSV was so hard on many kids over the last few years because they didn't get it early and its why its hitting hard on slightly older children. same with older folks who haven't been around it in the wild due to covid. its crazy that the human body needs germs...

My husband and I both got influenza after our summer vacation. It was brutal. We both pretty much were bed ridden for 4 days.
I am just now (5 weeks later) getting rid of some of my final respiratory symptoms.

I do think quarantine didnt do us any favors as a society for becoming more susceptible to getting sick.

Ill be getting my COVID and Flu shots here soon.

I've had the same thing recently, started with my kid, and now the whole family is dealing with it.
