2006 4.0 4x4 6mt. 186k miles. Started to hear/feel a front end vibration that seems to be coming from the front differential area. I have done the ECGS bushing, new cv axles and SKF wheel bearings this spring. The truck was lifted prior to me getting it at 166k miles, at 186k miles now.

She really wakes up around 40 mph, and it's definitely getting worse over time. As I drive down the road and swerve to unload the suspension, when I swerve to the right, it quiets down. Uncertain what's happening, I jacked the front end up and rotated the wheels around and nothing felt sloppy or made crazy noises. Only when driving does it really come alive.

Can the front differentials in these babies go bad? I know this truck lived down in Baja for a while, so it probably has seen some good off roading. (even has a sweet Mexican Kirkland brand battery).

Looking for any and all advice. My buddy who is a Toyota master mechanic is gonna take a ride with me tomorrow to listen/feel it out.

I attached "magic ears" to it this afternoon in different points on the front end and the noise definitely is coming from the differential area, at least that's what I figured from my limited ability.

Well it turns out it might be the right rear wheel bearing going. Replaced it last year. Seems to be failing pretty quickly.
