Alright so I had a sherpa grand teton rack installed. And ppf applied to the roof. When the shop put it on. They didn't clean the, roof properly before installation. Now they have to pull the rack back off. And remove the ppf. Should I be concerned about the rack leaking. And where would you see signs of the rack leaking on these trucks?

Why do they have to pull the PPF off? Should just unscrew the bolts and throw some outdoor waterproof silicon in the holes and put the screws back in. Rack can stay on the roof. Maybe I’m misunderstanding something here..

They clean the dirt off the roof. And installed the ppf without cleaning the roof.
