If the transmission fluid change doesn't eliminate the rumble, the next logical check (IMO) would be the front wheel bearings; but again, the transmission fluid change is a win-win anyway. I have always changed mine every 50,000 miles on any car I have owned. The easiest check for wheel bearings issues is to just drive straight-ahead on a long (straight) section and gently turn the wheel to the left and right. If the noise changes or goes away: likely a wheel bearing. This seems to be a issue on some, but not all Tacoma's. There are many threads on this in the forum if you search around. Not sure if it happens on the 2WD or 4WD drive trucks or both.

Mine are quiet at the current mileage (134k) and original to the truck.

    Hey Williston,
Ya I wasn't going to chance the drive it just sucks because I'm starting back up my schooling ( Bachelor's in nursing), and I really wanted to see my dad:( I will have to go in November. I think I'll have a break for Thanksgiving, but I'm not sure. I haven't had much issues with my truck just basic maintenance; which I've been lucky I'm very happy with my Toyota for sure! I didn't know that about Toyota vehicles that's AWESOME!!!

My step dad took her new outtie for oil change , and he was suppose to take her Nissan rogue ‍♀️ so she's nervous about taking her suv because she's unsure if the guy that did it put the right oil in it so my plans are canceled unfortunately:( yes I will let u know I take my truck in on the 26th of August.

P.s I thought maybe a (IMO) wheel bearings but the mechanic that looked at it said transmission flush after he took it for a spin. I will definitely let you know :)
