Step bumper receiver?.?.

I recently purchased a 22 Tacoma SR5 4 cylinder. Of course no receiver package. I called straight to Toyota and inquired about it and was told there’s not even a towing package assembled for this model. And that it really can’t handle even light loads that I asked about such as Fourwheeler and tractor mower.
It comes with the holes ( 31 in ) in width on frame pre drilled. I can’t find the correct size. I’ve purchased a step bumper hitch 5000lb capacity. I need something for the time being to haul smaller trailers until I can get the full set up. Am I setting myself up for serious damage? Will the bumper hold up?

 

Frame mount only! The stock bumper is shit. The Toyota receiver mounts to the frame.
