Congrats on new truck. We got ours the same week. That's a lot of money spent on items that don't include lift or tires.

 

It's been a long time coming. Long delay.

I've had a ton of trail time with my mostly stock Taco. Learned a lot. I feel ready to try harder trails. Comfortable on rough / Wired terrain. Great camping set up. Basic camp kitchen.

Finally got everything done. Really want to put A/T4s on and get a solid recovery gear set up beyond a couple straps, board and 2 hard shackles. Working on it. I've gotten everything from my original list installed sans truck computer / mount.

It is currently disgustingly clean and on a normal road in these pics, which brings shame to my ancestors. I've got to wait til the weekend of the 24th - 26th to get it back out into the land of the trees and dust.

Stuff I removed / will remove:

• All the Rotopax. Not convenient / useful. Lox mount is frustrating, can't handle mild WA rains. Storing enough fuel / water for a long trip is frustrating. Storing 2 cans on 1 mount is stupid and annoying. Not a fan at all after using for 2 yrs. Moving to Wavians.

• DECKED Drawers v1. Great system when I'm running training at the range. Drawers make it super convenient to hold all the targets / steel / ammo / etc. Slide out drawers are great filling cabinets / impromptu work space. Not ideal for overlanding or truck chores. Losing the plug is a dealbreaker. I know the v2 fixes that but I'm not going to buy another system. If I magically got a v2 for free or something I'd put it in there. Til I can figure out a good drawer system I'll just use the bed and tie downs.

Next up: A/T4s, more comprehensive recovery gear, recovery classes, better camp kitchen. WA BDR.

It's exactly what I wanted to be. I'm really glad for all the research.

And honestly, the lights I already have are flawless. Extremely happy that I went with yours. I'm beyond impressed. I couldn't even put how good they are into words.

Probably one of the few items I own that i have genuinely no complaints about. I got what I paid for.

I've got a few more lights to add - ditch lights and puddle lights are next after recovery gear / wheels / tires. The Bantamx makes em very easy to use and the Bluetooth is a blessing.

Only problem is my list is very expensive and my income is finite lol.
