After checking out the new Broncsplorer and other offerings, I landed at a Toyota dealer looking for a TRD Pro with a stick. And subsequently drove a '24 TRD OR (with the slushbox) back to back with this white beauty, a '22 TRD Pro with 6MT and barely 15k miles. I was hooked.

First thing I wanted was bigger tires. I can't believe the factory, even on a TRD Pro, is only a 265 16" rim. Since I'm not going to be doing much, if any off-roading, a simple 2" leveling kit from Rough Country fit the bill. A friend helped me install and while the front was tougher than either of us thought it would be (he's literally done a dozen lifts on his trucks), front and back completed in about 6 working hours.

Next day was wheels and tires from Discount Tire. Method MR703 wheels, 17x9, gunmetal grey with a new tire from Goodyear - Wrangler Duratrac RT 285/65/17 . I really love how the grey works with the white body. Discount Tire was great, btw.IMG_0167.jpg

Post lift I added some steps from GoRhino and because of the scuffs on the door sills even with a low mileage example, I ordered the Tufskinz appliques in grey to match the wheels. Looks awesome and easy to install.IMG_0033.jpgIMG_0164.jpg

Also some other niceties like LED bulbs for interior and reverse lights and the Tufskinz cupholder and console inserts because $DEITY Toyota used some cheap-@$$ loud plastic for that stuff. And a seriously game-changing modification that I have done in other vehicles, the B&M short shifter. Highly recommended.

Still need a few other bits like a tonneau and the popnlock.

So that's my truck so far. Loving it every day.

And like my grandmother always said, if you can't say something nice then don't say anything. :)
