How do I remove the moulding on my 2014 single cab so that the stone guard film can come off? (See photo)

I used a heat gun and low heat with plastic razor blades. When I got to that part I slowly pulled the stone guard film out from under the molding. Take it slow and use only a minimal amount of heat.

do you have a single cab? Cause the molding on these models really overlaps a ton, like over an inch don’t feel like it’ll be pretty without removal of the molding first.. other configurations seem to have less overlap so would be feasible to get under it seems.

That black trim/molding is more than likely held on with 3m tape. Might try heating up a bit while pulling some fishing line back and forth underneth... remove residue with goo gone. Reinstall with new 3m tape.

I let the black in place and just pulled the clear from under it after warming it up.

Didn't matter to me if a little stayed under the black edging
