I like all the compact signs on the spaces. Like everyone’s gonna just not show up because they don’t own a Prius

Maybe I'm tarded but I don't get it?

Oh, black plate. There was a thing to actually make those recently, it might have gone through

Yeah personally I like the black and white plates, I wish it was legal here. Some states have them. I find it odd we are the evergreen state and have no green on the plate.

thanks for the link, I wonder what ever came of it….

Seems odd to have a black and white "throwback" plate when WA never had those colors. I wouldn't mind the green and white of the 50's and 60's, before they went reflectorized.

Same here i like the look of B&W but it’s not the retro plate I think of when I think of WA. I think 1917-1918 had a black plate with white letters. I would think a green plate with white letters or white plate with green letters would be more of the retro plate people would think of for WA. I have an era specific plate for my 1985 4Runner that is white with green letters.

I'm a big fan of the older plates.

The MuTang has it's original plates and a repro 68 tab.

And my vintage motorcycles (65 and 68) also have vintage plates.

I love that look. I have the plate on my 1988 Subaru wagon. My Runner is currently in resto mode so no picture of it with the vintage plates yet. That’s my subie and plate…I’m not a fan of the 88 plate but don’t have to spend $100 a year to license it.

I've got the vintage plates on my Land Cruiser now. They gave me the runaround at the registration place because they were convinced I should have the centennial celebration plates even though they went out of production like 4 years before my Land Cruiser was made.

That’s beautiful! My subie had to have the centennial plates due to it being an 88. The only grief they gave me was saying that I can’t drive the car except for parades and shows…I said and test drives. Just so happens I may need to test drive it to work every so often. I finally found a photo of my 85 4Runner plates, truck is taken apart restoring it a bit now so the plate isn’t on.

I'd like to think fellow motorists get pleasure from seeing me driving my vehicles to work.

Edit: And I'm always on the way to or from a circus... my life is a circus.
