Anybody know of a wheel well toolbox that’s longer than the swing out toolbox but also fit under a tonneau cover?

First Brands bought Raybestos about 6 months before they bought Centric...and the goal, as they went on to acquire A1 Cardone and a few others was to further utilize the 2 friction plants owned by Raybestos (Mexico and India) and the Haimung rotor plant in China. Everything Centric is now the same as Raybestos stuff, just in a different box.

As far as the rotor thickness issue...the total thickness is identical (within tolerances)...that can't really change or it would be a different part number. The wall thickness might be a bit different, but that's not a quality issue at all. This rotor has been in use by Toyota for a long time, and there have been several consolidations/supersessions/revision over the years both at the OE level and aftermarket. Raybestos may have tooled and earlier or later version than we did at Centric...which is very common. It's still an OE design, just a different one, and still perfectly suitable. One would think more mass in a rotor makes it better, but I've seen dyno test that both agree and disagree with this statement....there are many more factors at play and things have to be looked at in a case by case basis. I have no idea how all the different versions of the tacoma rotor measure up....but the simple fact that in the 18 years I spent at Centric and haven't seen a single cracked Tacoma rotor means they are all perfectly fine.

Installed some bling (There's a $50 rebate on flatlinks right now).
And gave the truck a wash.
Tomorrow is new rear bumper install day.

rotated tires changed oil threw out the old air freshener.
Two quarts out of 6 or so, and the filter is still holding all the grunge.

Got off work at a decent hour today so decided to tackle the job today and save the weekend for drinking. Only hiccup I had was the u-bolts that came with the flip kit were a c-hair too short. Barely touching the nylon. I’ll have to get some longer ones asap but I’m not too worried about running them as is , just won’t be able to send it until it’s dealt with.

The replacement VLED's turn signal bulb arrived in the mail to replace the broken/burnt out one. I'm not sure how it broke, but it lasted about 2 years. All the other bulbs are still fine. VLED's currently has a 20% off sale. I'm thinking about ordering another standard led tail kit for spares.

Thanks! I love the look and the fact that the body might now outlast the engine and allow me to one day do an LS swap lol RustCheck in Winnipeg, they were great good reviews too.

I did the same thing I got the genuine ones from Desert for the driver seat and ended up ordering a set off Aliexpress for like around $20 for the passenger side, quality isn't to far off just make sure they are aluminum versions and not ones made of plastics.

It's so hard to justify $100+ for a set of genuine seat jackers sadly.

I have been on the phone a few times with Bak Industries which is now part of Real Truck.com and they are looking into the claim as the cover continues to come apart, not getting better but just getting worse.
Gorilla glue makes a flex tape that is 4 inches wide and 10' in length that I think i am going to use to fix it, myself and if they warranty it, i will send it back as it is, how do i send it back god only knows most likely truck freight at my cost of course ,or if i get a replacement and i can fix the present one i may just give the old one away or keep the bad one on the truck and put the good one away in storage.

A few, mainly added skids. I like leaving the suspension alone. I drive forest service dirt roafs in the desert west extremely extremely too fast. Toyota nailed this suspension going 65 across desert terrain. Changing it is dumb unless you have a specific need like crawling or mud.
Completed over 400 miles of 4x4 driving on a 1500 mile camping trip last week. 8 passes in 6 different national forests
    All in Colorado (home state).

down in Ouray we got a little trail rash on Engineer pass, Corkscrew gully. Compliments of a Jeep Wrangler who slid down onto my rig. Considering he had a bright orange crease the entire length of his truck, we called it even and moved on.

I'm happy about my trucks overall performance.

    1. The passenger windows jumped it's track from vibration. It is lost down in the door. I took on rain intermittent for 3 days.
    2. Tailgate retention cable nut wiggled lose is lost inside the tailgate.
    3. First trip in awhile without a single blown tire.... the load E do seem to hold up better with all the weight in the truck on the sharp rocks. I actually stopped airing down on day... so anyone on the fence about E rated tires that has a heavy rig go for it....
