Ok, I'm having a hard time finding laws regarding carrying things on a roof rack in south Carolina and north carolina. I have a grand teton rack. That I have a large plano case I need to carry things in. I plan on using two ratchet straps to transport down to Myrtle Beach SC. Does anyone know what the regulations are. Or how I could find them?

    Laws?
    We don’t do that here
You don’t even need to register a trailer
The amount of trailers with no lights, fenders, unsecured loads is crazy. What you described you’ll be fine

You are way overthinking this. Unless you have a pound of dope in the trunk, hauling stuff on your roof is going to be A ok.

Lol, I thought it was weird that I could find anything on Google about it. Well I got alot of things in my bed. Strollers, swing for the baby. Two cases, cooler, tools, ect. I didn't have room in the bed. So that was my last resort. Anytime I go out of state. I like to inform myself about any laws in that state.
