I understand wheel offset, but what are the affects of going to a lower offset when driving?

I guess because of the slightly wider stance, it's a little more stable cornering, but are there any other differences in the drive?

I noticed a bit less sensitivity to crowns but that could also have been a result of my tire choice as well. I went from stock -25 to zero offset. I also went with the lightest tire/wheel combo that I liked which made an improvement in the ride quality.

I just meant that a lower offset would be a little more stable than a higher one because that stance is a little wider.

the truck is already stable. Or not stable if it is built.

wider wheels box a vehicle to make it turn and be more twitchy, and fit a wider tire. That is for racing not Tacomas.

different offset on a Method 9” wide is to clear tires and rubbing. Not Group B rally.
