IMG_5703.jpg IMG_5702.jpg So a friend of mine just installed Bilstein 5100’s front and rear on his 2019 OR. For some reason getting these warnings on the dash now. Pre-collision malfunction and stability control system warnings. Any advice?

You can try unplugging the battery for a few minutes and see if it resets.

Is this a problem with the front end being too high and the TSS is out of alignment?

How much lift did you go? I literally did this yesterday on a ‘22 OR. No problems.

Does he have the oem TSS behind the Toyota emblem? If so, that is mounted higher than the pro tss.. When I did my lift I had already switched to a pro style grill and the tss is mounted lower.

only a zero point calibration at the dealer will reset this. Curious - did he disconnect the battery while doing the suspension change?

You need this to do zero point calibration if I’m not mistaken. You can do it yourself.

Is the steering wheel off-center at all? If so, then that is your issue. You need to have the wheels realigned then the code cleared.

    This and that
I had a pre-collision warning for a while after my a most recent grill change, but it went OR, to pro/and a lift, to OR, to xtrek. It went away after driving for a while.

I had similar alarm pop up on my 18 after installing pro suspension & replacing UCA’s/LCA’s.

After alignment, I had to get in techstream and clear the code. If I recall it was some sort of angle sensor error causing it.

Clearing the VSC cleared everything for me when I got it after swapping coilsprings.

OP did you unplug any sensors when you did your install or break any wires? Could be that something just got disconnected.

Paper clips don’t work on all. I’ve tried it. What someone said in the comments, use one of these tool scanners. I used innova and cleared it compared to how much a dealer is willing to charge you. It’s Amazon, return it or keep it.
