Testing it out now and will let you know what I come up with!

On paper, it should last 15 hrs as long as the cooler is already cold and the battery is just maintaining it so it won’t use much power. That’s more than enough time to switch over to solar and/or plugged into the truck the next day.

Surprisingly the wife let me drive the truck tonight to go out where we had to go, so I got my first impressions of the Mishimoto intake tube and TRD air accelerator. As expected, I didn't notice anything in the performance category really, though I wasn't pushing it either. I can definitely hear the difference in sound, not really louder but a more pleasant tone. Since I have the URD y pipe on, the exhaust is still more noticeable than the intake noise before even reaching 3k RPM even though I have a stock cat back. I don't expect the intake to be more pronounced over the exhaust at higher revs, but I probably never exceeded 3500 tonight so I guess that will wait for another day. Considering it was all of maybe 175 to buy both items, installed in minutes, and the tube looks nicer than factory while opening up some space I am still satisfied with the purchase.

I’m not sure if you realize this but without locks on your tent someone could easily access the bed of your truck. I have an extra set that I’d be happy to give you because I didn’t realize my used X1 came with locks.

Currently tracking 7% per hour so it should run 14 hrs with the cooler on max mode. That’s enough time to last the night and get back to charging in the truck while driving or go solar. Going to try the cooler on eco mode for a worst case scenario in case I need it to last longer before being able to charge back up.

Should be able to run for about 2 hours, good enough for 1 movie:rofl:

I'm glad that I could make your day!!!

When I re-read it, I had to ask myself 'I wonder how many on this forum could actually understand the diagram and how many actually knew what a flux capacitor is', then I laughed, too.
    Cheers

And now you know why Harley's have loud pipes.... the rider wants to 'feel the noise' and is willing to pay good $$ for it.

I got it because I liked the look, but it does have an actual purpose. When you load stuff on top of the cover it protects said items from coming through the back window should they come loose. I don't load a ton of stuff up there but have loaded some wood few times and didn't have to clear stuff out of the bed. I've seen someone load an ATV on the that cover before so it can hold some weight. Bonus use, I can leave my back window open and the dog can't jump out.

I also need to do this on mine - the clicking noise coming from the front is driving me nuts. Let us know if it actually ends up taking care of the problem.

Stretched the legs of my Tacoma on stock suspension in Rausch Creek, PA yesterday, I can say it did great while I love to add more clearance, I would still prefer stock-ish on-road feel.
Key to remember is slow slow slow, since the truck is sitting much lower than a lifted one with bigger tires, I didn't want to have extra bounce/jerkyness over rocks, just be patient and practice my throttle/brake modulation.

DIY exhuast re-route. And I ordered RCI skid plates (which was the whole point)!

That crossover pipe is a double wall and was a bear to work with. Had to cut the outer tube like clam shell, re-fit/weld the inside tube and then same with the outer tube while maintaining an air gap inside. It works but I DO NOT recommend doing this. What a pain in the ass for a whole 1" of clearance. :frusty:
