Had a productive weekend and Monday (other than work today). Got the Sherpa mid-height rack and rtt installed and just now buttoned up some new RCI skids.

Those are ever so slightly out of my skimpy price range but they’re extremely nice based on what some guys have told me

Yeah, a tiny bit. I'm not sure if that is to be or expected or if there is something I can adjust.

I might just message you about that.

Where I am is pretty safe and I try to avoid parking in unsafe locations.

got a chance to drive over speed bumps and other bumps in the roads I would normally notice clicks and didn’t hear anything. Tested different speeds and angles. Seems like it’s a worthy chance for $25 to make the sound go away.

Should be. The mag lugs have a slightly different contact cone/head to them than steelie ... run mag lugs on steelies I am told make for wobbly and other bad things.

Hello fellow Tacoma owners. What brand/type of rear seat cover are y’all using to try and keep dog hair from getting into your cloth seats? Thanks in advance.

Switched out the ol stock OR wheels for the 16” bronze DX4 Beast and reused the stock tires. Nothing fancy, but looks better.

This was the dealer installed usb originally mounted in the back of the center console. Power supplied by being tapped into the console storage usb.

I added the Guild interior AC converter wiring in a new receptacle (including USB-A and C) in the back of the console. Moved the dealer option to the passenger footwell.

Oh… also added a dual usb-a and a usb-c receptacle behind the radio trim to power twin RAM-mounted MagSafe charging and HUD gps speedometer.

    (made my own bracket-rough adaptation)

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
What do you think you're going to lose in ride quality with a lift? If done properly, your ride quality shouldn't change very much. With a bit over 2" of lift, I'm only marginally stiffer over small bumps and I'd argue that the ride is much better over big bumps. Even with the sway bar removed, I have little extra body roll when I maneuver hard. The same goes with the 255/85/16 tires.

rotated tires changed oil threw out the old air freshener.
I did that once to my 2021. Way too much work, and the truck didn't work any better after.

Then I drove it out of the yard and down the dirt road out, and I couldn't even tell.

A clean windscreen is nice though!
