I’m wanting to get a wheel setup with a -25 offset but I’m not wanting to go so big on the tires just yet.. does anyone know if that offset can clear running 265/70/17 tires on a stock suspension?

I ran 1.5" wheel spacers for awhile with my stock 265/70r16 tires. It made my stock +25 offset wheels into -12. No rubbing in any direction or turning backwards.

You're running an inch more diameter tire with another 1/2" of offset. Before sinking the coin on new wheels and if you don't want to cut, I'd search for some used wheel spacers that will give you a better idea. You can always resell them after.
