Toyota Dynamic Force is a family of engines now several years old. There are different cylinder and model types. The light truck version differs from the ones in cars. One of the many videos with engineer Sheldon Brown highlights the more than 1/2 the parts different in the light truck version.

The Tundra's V6 had a manufacturing problem. News isn't yet showing problems with other variations. Quite a few don't like turbos and smaller engines but the latest or a recent Consumer Reports podcast highlights how they are very reliable in general when designed to be turbo and in the right application.

I'm happy to take any risks associated. Even early on my metro fuel economy beats the Toyota V6 just traded. It is very powerful when the V6 would struggle and frugal when you don't blow on the fire.

Also on minivans. V6 Tacoma lovers might not know they shared major drivetrain elements with Sienna.

For those not liking the turbo 4, the used vehicle market us huge and Nissan has a V6 pickup without a turbo.

Cool info. I was being sarcastic as the prevalent sentiment of the trolls here at TW is that the 3G has a minivan engine. And they continue here with their wisdom on the 4G. We are ever so blessed.

You people are hilarious. Suggesting it was a car engine was tongue in cheek humor. Do you see my vehicle ? 2016
I have read that comment in here for 7 years, and you guys took the bait.
Was funny to watch for a while. Feathers in a fluff.

My sarc was intended generally. Don't even remember your comment. Might have even agreed.
