Guess I never posted up the finished front end pics.. I also changed out the rear springs for a little softer combined rate, fabbed up the TMR Atlas tail support mount and relocated the battery into the cab.

Going to take it to K2 in Mason over the long weekend.

Still just addressing a few things as they pop up. The truck is finally a single color. I added an additional cooler for the steering to match the Trans cooler. And started building a turbo 2rz for a motor swap.

I got some help from a buddy and reworked the front suspension, shock mounts, steering mount. It was all based around a subframe assembly that he had developed for another build. Overall, I'm stoked. I have more up-travel front and rear and my overall ride height is right at 3" lower. had to do a little maintenance while I was in there with a new PSC TC pump, belt and pulley.

    [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

Added a Joes Racing steering wheel and quick car disconnect for shits and giggles. I eliminated My steering column controls during the process which forced me to rewire the headlights. Moved the Vision X pods to the OEM location and put some Baja Designs S1s on the bump bar.

Still dicking with the 2RZ Turbo build. Harness came in las week I and got it plugged in. I think I have my preliminary routing for the intercooler set up but wont know till I get it in the engine bay. getting real damn close to pulling the 22re.

    [IMG][IMG][IMG]

Currently getting the exhaust finished, HDPE skids mounted and fabricating a Trans pan skid which will attach to the subframe assembly.

Hopefully shaking it down next week in Mason @ K2

Well the time has come to begin the motor swap. I took the truck out last weekend for its last ride with the 22re. It did well. hopefully everything goes smoothly. Shooting to get this knocked out somewhat quickly with minimal setbacks.

Motor swap began beginning of June and is pretty much complete now. I decided to rewire most of the accessories and replace more parts than expected. The list is still pretty long but the engine runs and that all that really matters. I had to hunt for the right sized intercooler to fit in space that I had to work with. Volvo S40 intercooler FTW and my grille fits over it nicely.test fit 1.jpg top.jpg side.jpg intercooler.jpg

Getting really close. Chasing a code or 2, wrapping up steering, and finishing up some wiring.. Sheet metal dash/gauges are in and wired.

Motor seems to be running fine so far with the boost.
Added an all aluminum radiator/SPAL fan to eliminate the mechanical fan.
Picked up the first set of 40/13.5/17 Interco SX2 stickies and a set of Vision Manx bead locks.
Gonna beat on them Next week at K2 for the Lonestar Landcruiser roundup.

Been Working on my other trucks and wheeling when possible. The SX2s are breaking in pretty good. Jury is still out if like them or not. Picked up a set of 42" Reds on some Raceline Avengers and decided to throw em on. I clearanced them quite a bit to make them fit. I removed the intercooler and cleaned up some wiring. Gonna have my buddy do the rest. Updates will be limited as I have decided to build a tube chassis and potentially sell this to make some room...
