Just signed up as new member. 2002 Gen 1 Tacoma extra cab. Indestructible bugger @ approximately 250K. JUST treated it to a top end paint job and now looking for a topper to compliment it. We live in Colorado so it gets beat with weather and it is always nice to have the back protected and yet accessible. This is my wife's truck and she chose to keep this over me buying her a NEW vehicle as long as I spruced it up some. She loves the truck. We are 2nd owner and purchased it with low miles in 2005..... (I think). I am a 300 pounder so I do not fit in it well but I do love this truck for all the reasons everyone else knows about. If anyone has maintenance or cosmetic suggestions I am all ears. Changed the timing belt, oil regularly and brakes but other than that not much has been done to it mechanically. As I go thru the truck I will post other questions I might have. Thanks in advance for any support.
