So I just purchased a used 2020 Tacoma. It has a cartrimhome t10 head unit. It’s not working with the JBL system in the truck. In fact I’m getting no sound in the back of the truck. Also my up button on my steering wheel is not working. Please help!!

the best option here is to try to locate an installation or connection diagram for that specific model.

but keep in mind that with any radio installation, there will be connectors on either the vehicle-side, or radio-side that won't be used due to different functions.

the jbl system in the truck should require an adapter module to convert the radio's signal into a digital signal the amp located under the rear seat in the plastic, next to the subwoofer, can interpret. i'm not aware of any aftermarket radio that does this conversion natively.

also, all the steering wheel buttons are connected together, so if one works, the others are correctly wired, and indicate a programming issue, not a connection issue.
