I got an 09 access cab last year and this years speaker system is very poor in the access cab. I have been looking into installing some subs into the truck but don’t really know how to or where to figure out how to. If anyone has had similar problems and has figured it out please let me know what you did and how it worked out

there's some options in the audio section.

overall, it really comes down to how much space you're willing to lose.

some are happy with the small underseat subs, others build consoles that take up large parts of the rear access cab area..

Okay sweet and do you know if an amp is needed or if you can just hook the subs up to the stock head unit

no, the stock radio won't work. you need either an all-in-one amp/sub combo unit, or a separate amp and sub box.

Okay sweet thank you. So if I want to get subs and an amp do I need to get a new head unit or will they work with the stock one?
