Amen! But they are good to the hired staff. ;)

Helped my dad and his friend that installed kitchens some 35 years ago placed an atrium door in my kitchen I am amazed that two persons were able to lift and install that monster of a window. Really nice work.:hattip:

Good morning. Off to the gym then to the eye doctor. Fixing a dry eye condition takes quite a while to fix. I have a string trimmer to fix either today or tomorrow. Yesterday saw a leak from the overflow pipe on the hot water heater. Flushed the heater yesterday and the problem seems to be cured but time will tell. Hot water heater is 8 years old and expansion tank is 3 years old. Last time I had this problem it was the expansion tank.

Susan: So sorry about your loss RIP Zoie.

    Morning all:

Years ago, lots of people had small gardens in town and the outlying areas, not so much anymore.
Like Sprig said, nothing store bought tastes as good as garden vegies.
My neighbor always had a huge garden, this year it was cut down to half of what it always was. His wife is getting older and it's just becoming too much work for her to maintain it, he even built some high raised beds to make it easier on her.

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
It took 4 of us to lift the frame onto the deck and finally onto the manual forklift my buddy had rented. That frame was heavy!

I’ve had my tomatoes under a sunshade here on the front range of Colorado, but it hasn’t helped.
We have 1 short growing season sadly. Although my spinach did pretty well early. Even my zucchinis produced only 1 stubby zucchini! Couldn’t believe they didn’t grow!
Yep gardening was my dad’s escape from the stress of work. If I picked the cherry tomatoes, I could eat all I wanted to. Often made me throw up from the acidity! LOL!
    Best of luck!

Well now the granddaughter has Covid! Never ending. Hope I keep improving so I can go on my sabbatical fishing trip. I could use a week of alone time.
Sue, I missed any info on your old pup! So sorry for your loss! It’s been years now since I lost my old GSP, and I miss him almost daily. At 77 I just can’t see raising another not knowing which of us would go first only to leave the other lost behind.

So sorry that you lost Zoie Sue, I didn't see where you posted that she was gone, just that she wasn't doing well.

Sorry to hear that your granddaughter has covid Phillip, hopefully it is mild and that she will be over it soon. Reading a couple other forums, where others also have covid, it seems like it's making its rounds again. :(

Half a project done, needed to fix the latch on the coal stove! Of course it wasn't that easy, first the latch retaining/adjusting bolt was froze up and twisted off, OK, need to drill it out, problem is I can't drill it all the way through it. Tried an easy out, nope, won't budge, then kept going up in drill size until I got the last part of the bolt weak enough to be able to pry the latch off with a chisel, now the bolt hole is too big and too close to the edge of the latch to tap and install a bigger bolt. :annoyed:

OK, I already had a new latch made that needs to be drilled to fit on the latch handle and drilled and tapped for the retaining bolt, NOTHINGS EASY!
This is the second time I've had to drill out the latch bolt, even high temp. anti seize doesn't keep it from seizing up, should be good to go for a while after installing the new latch.

I didn't see it either and went back to check. I'm not very good at this kind of thing even though I sympathize greatly. Let's not bury a dog until we have been notified, I guess... And either way wishing the best.

Thanks guys I appreciate it !!!!!!

Both of my Kidneys are being affected from my Parkinson’s disease . Both kidney's are about 70% blocked by stones . The surgery they're going to perform on me is over 5hrs long and having to place stents in both

I'm very nervous of this procedure

One of those moments in life when we have no control at all and might as well relax and fall backwards into the night, enjoying the stars. Every time I've been put under I wake up better in some way, so we trust that will be your result. Thinking the best...
