    I knew this was going to be an issue eventually because of other people's stories here so I went and sourced the normal cubby from a lower trim. Worth it in my opinion to swap it out.

    I'm happy my truck didn't come with one. Seems to be a gimmicky Ford type of option that has no place in a vehicle that is considered low tech.

    I put a mini frying pan on mine and it cooks bacon. You have to set it to quick charge mode though so it gets hot enough.

    I am thinking of figuring out a way to swap mine out for a Scanstrut ROKK wireless charger. They have a similar foot print and are made for use outdoors on boats. I sell tons of them and have never had any returns.
