    Hi,

Can anyone recommend a good after market replacement headlights to fit 2008 Tacoma, with a reasonable price and send a link. Mine are all glazed over.

There are so many out there. Looking for some that someone has already used and and good experience and that have lasted. It seems that many replacements eventually fail, let in moisture and and /or having poor seals. Thanks much

Your best bet will be to do a refresh of your OEM headlights.

Morimoto would be the next highest quality option but they're pricey. more so than OEM I believe.

Spec-D makes some budget decent ones, but i did seal the lens edge with silicone, and the clearcoat flaked off p quick requiring me to refresh the plastic and re-coat it. Light output is pretty weak though. But never had any technical issues or leaks since installing them about 4 years ago.

This subject has been beat to death around here for many years. The honest truth is that OEM headlights assemblies will give you the longest life and best performance - but at a higher price point than aftermarket. Aftermarket headlights in general do not last as long and do not perform as well - but they're inexpensive.

One big difference in quality between OEM and aftermarket headlights is resistance to water intrusion. There are all sorts of war stories of water getting into aftermarket headlights in relatively short periods of time. (See above.) Lots of folks will tell you that you need to run a bead of sealer around the joint between the lens and housing before you install them. My answer to that is, "Why should I need to modify a product to insure it performs as it's supposed to?"

The best advice I can give you is that with lighting products in general, you get what you pay for. Cheap Chinese crap may be cheap, but it's still crap.
