Could you get a very fine brush and touch up OEM paint…and paint in your ex’s name to make it look like you scraped her and her name off? Might take some practice first.

 

It's unclear from the photos where the scratch is vs. reflections from the environment. However, I do see a dent below the word "OFF" on the bedside TRD decal. I suggest a PDR guy to pop out the dent. Should be relatively easy access with the tail light unbolted.

Lol, it really doesn't work that way! Here on TW, you take the good with the bad and the insanely stupid. Every thread has the potential to turn into a roaring dumpster fire, especially if it involves an ex wife.

Honestly, you can't even see it. You could polish and buff that area fairly easily if it's that much of a bother. Sticker would look really weird there. Actually, a can of 2K clear coat would make that literally disappear.

Being serious ... just call it a battle-scar unless (1) it interferes with function OR (2) you will sell in 2 years.

 

I'm old, I never got the memo on political correctness. Or, maybe I just never opened the E Mail so I could have plausible deniability.

 

If you're not comfortable doing it yourself, take it to someone that knows what they are doing (shop) and ask them if it can be buffed out. It looks like a lot of that will, then proceed from there.

Another thing that might be worth a try is get some clear plastic polish like Meguire's or Mothers and see if any of it will come off.

 

Here’s a sticker suggestion, the ex will probably like it too.

A good polishing compound probably makes that barely noticeable. The dent on upper part of the panel small suction cup or a pdr guy.
