^I recon'd the place on Sunday around noon time. There was a lineup on W Fox Rd to get into the parking lot, which was around 3/4 full, but the dunes weren't crowded at all. I think the cooler temperatures compared to preceding weekends were to "blame". I went back on Monday morning to do the runs. It was early enough that you can see the grooming tractor in the first video. Cooler temps in the morning means the sand is less fluffy and easier to get traction, at least according to Matt's Off Road Recovery :cookiemonster: I was able to hit 7000+ rpm about 15 times on Monday (stock redline is 6500) and the coolant temps stayed steady in the middle of the gauge.

Mid-August turned out to be a good time to visit Silver Lake :)

Morning neighbors, I miss going to Canada, I’m old. We used to play pick up hockey in Tillbury every Friday night, ice time was $5 cheaper an hour.

Mid 70’s, I was born in 57’, used to go to Tigers games for a $1.35 , bleacher seats were a $1.00, .35 cents for bus fare, bring your own popcorn and kool-aid, remember it like yesterday
