Yes don’t do it. I sent them back for a refund after trying 2.

it is impossible. Just go buy the film off rvinyl and do it yourself. Here is the problem. They use Oracal 981 film which is great. It is super thin, sticky and durable. The problem is when you peel it off the backing it already starts to stretch. Then trying to place it perfectly on the silver part you can’t.

For the Sport wheels I bought Oracal 981 in Anthracite. It is close but a shade lighter than the actual wheel.

I also agree with Goin2drt. These things did not turn out as well as I would have hoped on my TRD OR. I like the look of the blacked out rim, but the installation is nearly impossible.

I'm pretty well versed installing vinyl and getting them to line up perfectly is a tough task. Small slivers of aluminum will still be visible regardless of how much time and dexterity you have.

I've only installed on one side so far.. still deciding whether or not to pull it off and go a diy route with regular black vinyl.

EDIT: After posting this it makes me want to rip them off and go another route. Doesn't look great up close. Passes the 20ft test but not the 5ft test.

Just like my first girlfriend; nice from afar but far from nice.

But honestly the blank does look better. I wish it was standard like the pre runner.
