So I was able to get a steal of a deal on some icon stage 2 coilovers and rear resis. So I know I don't need aftermarket ucas unless I go above the 2.25" mark up front. For the rear though, I don't know if I need the add a leaf, the icon leaf pack, or nothing at all. I obviously want the lifted look and function for bigger tires, 33s. I dont have any load, actually looking to get a bed cover. Please give direction so I can button up this lift properly and get it installed! Thanks all in advance. caveat: not an expert!

You're going to have a bit of a bro-lean if you don't do something in the back. I have a stage 3 kit on my truck (I think the only difference is that stage 3 kit has the UCAs).

I like a factory-style rake instead of a purely leveled truck, so when I raised the front coilovers, I added the 1.5" add-a-leaf thing

But my truck looked pretty silly for the two weeks that I didn't have them

    edit: unless you like stargazing!

Not into a squatter look hahaha. I'm thinking that the aal would be ideal to lift and give the level look in that case.

Go with the AAL if you do not plan on having much weight in the bed. Otherwise a full leaf pack would be better. I have had the AAL from icon for 2 years. No issues.

Yeah. I'm leaning the aal route. Do I need the sawybar relocation bracket?

I added the sway bar relocation kit when I did my lift or you could just remove the sway bar when you add the icons. Super easy to install the relocation.

At 2 inches lift, upper control arms are still very beneficial. Just an FYI.

@Robskino I agree here, not required but you could benefit from those.
As far as the lift, at 2.25 you are going to be very close to level, maybe a bit taller in front the 1.5" icon AAL will probably leave the back a bit higher than the front.
If I was you, I'd get the AAL, I would rather have the front be a bit lower than the back, OR if you plan on carrying any weight constantly, DO get a full pack.

What is with the obsession on leveling these trucks? Makes it useless as a truck as far as I'm concerned hurts the on road performance especially if at all loaded.
I suggest a full leaf pack with a mildly increased capacity, the factory pack is weak and flattens out with age and any hauling accelerates this.
Do your best to maintain a 1-2" rake and everything feels far better.

Red does give you 30-40% more Horse Power, but I'll let you make that call...

the rc arms seem to actually be fine.

but again what did you order from icon? their kit should have come with aals and if you were going with ucas anyways then coulda just bumped up to a kit with the icon uca included for all in one complete kit.

I got a deal off this forum for the coilovers front and rear. Not an entire kit. Not straight from icon. So the aal was seperate, actually got it for 150 on Amazon. Ucas are a, ill get it in time. Not a necessity immediately. But like @FreshMexicanTaco said, red gives 30-40% more hp. So @devinzz1 have you used the rc ucas personally? I've heard mixed reviews about them

RC gets a bad rep for producing super cheap items that typically do not hold up. Some say their newer stuff is a huge improvement but I personally won't take the gamble with my cash. I have a hard enough time making "quality" proven items last.

Interesting. I know for the longest rc was cheap junk. But it would be nice to hear from someone that has them on their opinion
