The 900 doesn’t include the installation. You can do it diy but I’m having a local shop do it they said about 40-60 per seat depending on difficulty

Oh I meant meters. You'll have endless amounts of space with those few things removed.

Almost as much as a 3rd gen :D :crapstorm:

Damn I heard rumors Hardkorr were going out of business so I ordered led strips from gtfo months ago. Really wanted the diffuser so ended up making my own.

This looks awesome! Added to my list of restaurants to check out. I also noticed Rathskeller under the recommendations on Google maps, and that place looks like it's worth a visit. I guess I'm going to have to figure out an excuse to visit the Hazelhurst area sometime. :hungry:

So, if you are not having it professionally done here is what I would do: get some wax and grease remover at Napa or an automotive paint store. Use an application rag and a cleaning/drying rag. Soak the app rag and wipe it all down. Then wipe it dry.
Paint with your favorite product. I just use a key Lon paint/primer paint Will need reapplication periodically. You’ll get more mileage than you expect from this

I just used mineral spirits on my sliders, then rustoluem self etching primer, followed by their professional flat black paint. I thought it looked very good, and at first it seemed to stick well, but by last weekend, it started coming off in some areas. That was frustrating to see.

Acetone or denatured alcohol may be a better solvent choice for pre-paint prep. Mineral spirits can leave residue that isn’t as good for adhesion.

Did you sand before applying the paint? Put the primer on and them use a scottbrite to scuff it up good

This. That is why I suggested the actual product for the purpose. If its wrong at the bottom it will never stay on...

Seems some of the places where the paint flaked off also coincidentally had a bunch of metal flaking off. Hmmm.

I had an F-150 with a blown head gasket. Quite familiar with a very similar process. Squeezing hoses, forcing out the air, bubbling over... oh how I swore at that truck that cold, cold winter.

I did, but clearly not well enough. The damned paint just came right off!
