Trying to get all the smoke smell out of my trucks interior the last few days. I unfortunately picked up the bad habit during a time of stress but as of earlier is week have decided to quit cold turkey.

I've vacuumed it all out wiped and cleaned all the glass and plastic panels, fabreez the seats carpet and head liner. Seems to be mostly gone. I'm trying placing a bowl of coffee grounds in there overnight. The internet say is that or citrus peels will help.

Air vents collect odors in the tiny internal crevices. Might need a "forced air" cleaning. Maybe professional auto detailers know how to do that.

Yeah. I might search for some sort of aresol vent and AC cleaning product. Also now that you mention the vents. I should probably replace the cabin air filter.
The good thing is when I did smoke in the truck I always had the windows open so it didn't build up so bad as if the AC circulated it all.

    Edit.

    I found this product
InterDynamics Certified A/C Pro Vent and Duct Cleaner, Professional Strength Odor Eliminator for Cars, Truck, HVAC, 10 Oz https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071GZ83PV

I ultimately decided to give this a try as it got some good reviews and Maguires products are usually good. Meguiar's Whole Car Air Refresher, Odor Eliminator Spray Eliminates Strong Vehicle Odors, Summer Breeze - 2 Oz Spray Bottle https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00G49DUYY
Have a new cabin air filter on the order too.

I'm off to a new start as a non smoker once more and no nasty car smells that honestly was embarrassing when I'd have to go somewhere with coworkers.

Swing by Taco Bell and down a half dozen tacos. Then drive around for about an hour. Guaranteed you’ll have no more cigarette smell.

Well now that sounds explosive. I know what Taco bell does to me. I'll be running... not for the border though.

I used this to get rid of the Canadian forest fire odor that consumed the northeast last year (was it last year...who knows). It worked, now I use the same one as part of my annual maintenance.

Just smoke a bunch of pot in it and they will never notice the cigarette smell. Problem solved.

Got the 255/85/16 on RTX 16x7 steelies. I have some rub full lock but have Bilstein lift coming later this week. I am just elated with the look. Absolutely love it. Happier than I’ve been in some time. Also I know. Weights are weird. Mavis did it. Plan on a road force balance soon.

I've heard that those work well too. Not sure how expensive on is but I have also heard you have to be careful about the length of time you run it as it can damage the plastics in the interior if you over do it with ozone.

Ah hell, man, just take down to your local Toyota dealership and trade it in on brand new 25 Tacoma. Then you have that refreshing new truck smell. Problem solved.
