2021 SR5 Headlights

So I bought aftermarket full LED headlights and I need an adaptive harness to make them fit. I’m not sure what adaptive harness I need. I have a 2021 SR5. My OEM lights have LED bulbs but I’m not sure if they are aftermarket or stock. Did the 2021 SR5 even come with LED lights? I have 4 plugs going into my OEM lights and only 1 plug going into the aftermarket light. What should I do? Thanks!

 

Aftermarket, bad idea. Toyota OEM LED is recommended far and away as best. But since you insist on using "some other unknown brand" ...

SR5 is not "offroad" which as far as I know is the lowest level with LED DaytimeRunningLamps. So likely you have no LED feeds. The people to answer these questions are @Puppypunter and @daveeasa who build the harnesses you are asking about.

Yea don’t do cheap headlights. SR5s came with halogen bulbs, someone put a led replacement in there. That’s ok for now. My vote is to upgrade to quality led h11s or upgrade to h9s(search headlights and tons of info pops up) or get Morimoto led headlights. They are the only decent aftermarket from light output and build quality.

I believe Oem led headlight conversion harnesses for Sr and sr5 are no longer being built iirc

 

I think Puppypunter picked them up when daveeasa stopped, but others can confirm/deny.

And as far as I have heard many states do not allow LED bulbs in halogen assemblies. But let others confirm/deny.

 

That’s good to know! Hopefully they can chime in and confirm as I’m wanting Oem led replacements as well
