none so far, just getting started!
    Howdy folks,

I would like to introduce myself. My name is Dean, I am a former 3rd gen 4Runner owner in Houston, Texas! As the thread title mentions, I'm a former 4Runner owner, I logged over 360,000 miles on my 2001 4Runner Limited, but the 5vz-fe motor finally gave it up, forcing me to search for a replacement 4wd vehicle. Happily I was able to snag a great deal on a 2022 Tacoma TRD Off-Road in Blue Crush Metallic with the 6 ft. bed! I've been on the lookout for a similar combo, but apparently in Houston, both of those options (blue crush metallic and 6 ft bed) are quite rare! It only had 55,000 miles on it so I think it is now just nicely broken in already! :)

I knew the in's and out's of the 3rd gen 4Runner, replacing so much stuff over the years on my own, so I feel pretty confident as a DIY'er for the 4Runner, but the Taco is so new with all new fancy tech on it, so I'm hopeful this site will be helpful as I begin to learn my way around it!

And if I get as much mileage from my Tacoma as I did from my 4Runner, I'll be one happy camper!

Very glad to meet everyone, and please pardon ahead of time if I ask some questions that make me sound like a newbie to the rest of y'all! Hopefully my newbie phase goes quickly!
