    Hi,

I am having some issues with my solar charging setup (100W panel HPP -> Yeti Goal Zero 1500).

I have been troubleshooting with a multimeter and Goal Zero forums, everything checks out. However, the Yeti is still not receiving an input charge from the solar panel.

At this point, I would like to try connecting to another panel and/or Goal Zero to see what happens.

    Any help would be appreciated!

    Thanks,

    PJ

I'm in Pomona with both a Yeti 1000 and Goal Zero solar panels.

have you pinged Goal Zero support? I had a 1000x and sent it back to them (they replaced it) as it was not getting good enough input on the solar charge. I would bet it is the Battery, not the panels but curious to see.

That is interesting. Because I did test it last year and it worked, but poorly. The battery works perfectly well otherwise. All other functions work great. Its a 1500x and a year out of warranty.

Goal Zero and I have been working on it. They sent me an HPP AC wall charger to test the HPP ports, but I haven't received it yet.

Ah ok yah my performance on solar was bad out of the box so swapped it out right away. Was barely getting 20 watts on a 200 watt panel. Gets well over 120 now. Haven’t used it in awhile but battery worked fine even on the old one
