Hey, I have an 05 TRD Sport with a OME 2in lift on 33's. I have a humming noise at highway speed that gets louder while turning left and it looks like it's coming from the front right. It does not go away when I put it on 4H or 2H. I have recently replaced all 4 ball joints, outer tie rods, sway bar links and front right wheel bearing and hub. My tires have also been balanced and are not very worn and also did a front wheel alignment recently. Do you guys have any ideas? Maybe front diff to CV bearing? Left ECGS bushing mod? Add LSD additive to diff?

    Thanks in advance

If it get's louder when turning right it's probably the left wheel bearing, easy enough to jack up the front end and check.

No, turning right will make all vibration and noise disappear.

Ahh srry I misread your post.
Still I'd jack up the front and check the bearings, sounds like a wheel bearing noise if you can change it with steering input.

I did replace the right wheel bearing, and the left has no play in it.

What do they sound like when you spin them with the wheel off the ground? I've seen wheel bearings that didn't have any play still make noise and I've also seen some that the wheel was about to fall off not make any noise.

Tires are another possibility, if they are getting a choppy wear pattern they will make noise that sounds like a wheel bearing.

What brand was the wheel bearing you replaced? I've used some cheap ones that made noise immediately after install. And did you torque to spec? Otherwise, the diff to CV bearing could be a good guess. Run it off the ground (safely) and listen closely. Also make sure there's not too much debris on the diff drain plug.

It sounds like your steering rack or pump may be the issue. Try to check your steering fluid then see if topping it off works. If it goes away the you have a leak. If not, your rack is the issue. It is a pain to change, I just checked mine out.
