    It passes the 15 foot test, but if you get any closer you notice a lot of blemishes. Had to caulk a fair bit and it still had one leak that I have to adress, but for the price i can't complain! It's heaaavvvvyyy tho

    Anybody got a PN for the front oil seal on the transfer case?

    We developed a couple leaks on our recent trip to Colorado. I'm currently working on the passenger side dif seal. Luckily I had one on hand

    Just did mine a couple days ago;
    For front drive shaft:
    90311-41012 - Front Output shaft seal <- this is probably the one leaking
    90312-23001 - Companion Flange seal <- while you're in there
    90179-22016 - Companion Flange stake nut

    Rear output shaft seal is 90311-41007

    I'm sure you could reuse the nut, but since you stake it I think its best practice to replace.

    Good question, I'm guessing not as far as I put mine because it's still leaking. I was thinking it went too far before I put things back together and I'm pretty sure that's what's up now.
    I could see a line around the inside of the dif where everything was shinny and clean behind where the old seal was and that might help to Judge how far

    I see a bunch of 3D-printed seal drivers on etsy and ebay. I bet the models are available online if you know someone who's into printing or machining.

    I considered using the CV axle to push it in.
    I took the truck to get a burger and it's leaking less now too so maybe it just needed to seat itself a bit. We'll see what happens

    Best way is to get it started and flush then use the CV to push it in.
