Hey Guys - just want to make sure I have this right before I tackle it later today as it's my first time doing any real wiring stuff myself.

I bought a Redwolf harness off Amazon so I don't have to cut any factory wiring.

Once I have the subwoofer connected to the battery - and the ground hooked up - all I have to do is splice in the subwoofers speaker wires into the harness, and then hook everything up to the back of the OEM head unit?
I don't need the remote wire?

There's a wealth of information out there but it seems like everyone does it differently and there's some conflicting info. Thanks in advance!

Yep! Splice the hideaway white and grey to the red wolf white and grey. Those wires will probably need to be run over under the center console then up behind the radio.

Thanks for this - ended up being a quick and easy install, thanks to a lot of your advice in other threads!
